RENTAL POLICY

Quiet hours are from 10 p.m.–7 a.m. We strive for all of our guests and neighbors to have a relaxing experience – therefore, please avoid playing loud music or making any excessive noise.

 

Cleaning Policy

Your cabin/room should be left in the same condition as when you checked in – everything in its place and clean. We ask that you respect our cabin like you would your own personal property.

 

To ensure that you have the best stay possible and to help us maintain the beauty of our privately-owned cabins, here are a few things that we ask of you:

 

  • Please do not rearrange any of the furniture in the cabin.

  • Please do not strip the bed(s).

  • Please take all trash out to the provided bins before checking out.

  • Load and start the dishwasher before checking out.

  • Start a load of dirty towels in the washing machine before checking out.

  • Clean refrigerator and freezer of all food before checking out.


Reservation Policy

Reservations are required and must be paid in full one month prior to check-in. Once paid you will receive an email with check-in instructions. 


Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 14 full days prior to local check-in time (3 p.m. CST) on the day of check-in. For a 50% refund of accommodation fees, cancellation must be made 7 full days prior to local check-in time (3 p.m. CST) on the day of check-in, otherwise, no refund will be issued. If you cancel less than 7 days in advance or decide to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded. If you cancel within those 7 days and we rebook the cabin to another party, you will receive a full refund. Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is canceled before check-in. 

 

Check-In / Check-Out

  • Check-in time: 3 p.m. 

  • Check-out time: 11: a.m.

  • Sunday check-in not available. 

  • A personalized door code will be sent to you for you to access the cabin at 3 p.m. on the day of check-in. 

  • Wash and put away dishes, or start the dishwasher.

  • Bag all trash and put outside in the provided bins.

  • Do not leave cabin/room excessively dirty.

  • Do not strip bed(s).

  • Clean refrigerator and freezer of all food before checking out.

  • Lock the doors behind you. 

Damage / Loss

You are responsible for any lost or damaged items during your stay, and your credit card will be charged to fix or replace items.

Fireplace, Firewood, and Starters

Do not move the fire logs or anything in the fireplace. There will be a non-refundable $150 charge if you do, and you will likely be charged an additional cleaning fee.

Firewood will be furnished from October through February (not applicable at White Oak Lodge).

Please make sure to put out any fire in the outdoor fire pit by extinguishing with water thoroughly. Do not leave fire unattended.

 

Hot Tub Policy

Please do not sit on the hot tub lid. If the lid is damaged during your stay, you will be charged a $500 replacement fee. Leave the lid on the hot tub when not in use. Please shower before getting into the hot tub to remove any lotions, oils, perfumes, etc. from your skin. If you do not, there will be an unpleasant odor and the motor will not run properly.

Pool Rules/Policy

No lifeguard on duty - swim at your own risk. Please shower before you enter the pool. Animals are not allowed in the pool or on the pool deck. No food or glassware in pool or on pool deck. No diving or running and no rough play. A maximum of six (6) persons are allowed in the pool. Pool hours are 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. 

Outdoor Shower (Belle Âme Cabin)

The outside shower is only to be used May through September. Due to cold weather and possible freezing pipes, do not use the shower October through April.

Pet Policy

We do not allow pets at any of our properties. 

Refrigerator Policy 

Do not adjust the refrigerator temperature. Please clean the refrigerator and freezer of all food before checking out. During your stay, keep the refrigerator door closed as much as possible.

Smoking Policy

All White Oak Cabins are non-smoking. No exceptions.
